We offer groups a unique experience in a personal way a visits to Tanzania. Besides the beautiful country of Tanzania and the unique wildlife we will also visit, projects and churches supporting, children, orphans, and also children in need of support with different kinds of disabilities. Missionaries has ben working with churches in Tanzania to do this and a lot more in many years, we let you see for your self and also maybe become a supporter as well if you like.
Nature/culture: Monduli Juu camp site
A Cultural experience with bushwalk among giraffs, meating the massaikulture, enjoy dance and storytelling by he fire.
Monduli Juu is a village located by the Monduli Mountain one and a half hour from Arusha town. A night at the Munduli Juu campsite located on the edge of the great Rift Valley will be a unforgettable cultural experience in the massai land. We stay in simple tents or you can spend a night in a massai boma at the camp site, (the typical hut that the massai lives in.) We will be served a buffet of Swahili food, and of course you can choose to eat the goat that will be roosted by the campfire.
We offer a bush walk together with an experienced massai guide, he will be able to tell you about the flora and fauna found in the area, plant used for different medical uses and other interesting facts. There is a good chance we will be walking among the giraffes and we can learn how to track some of the animals. Maybe you would like to try to brush your teeth with a stick from the tooth brush tree?! We will visit a massai family in their boma and if possible also visit a school with kids supported of Monduli Juu orphan project.

Wake up in a quiet flourishing environment to the beautiful view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The nuns at Maua (meaning flower) sisters will make sure you are enjoying the relaxing stay. They will cook your food from the vegetables in their own beautiful garden. You can even buy fruits, jam or vegetables depending on season. You can visit the church for early morning prayer together with the nuns if you wish, or at another time during the day. The magnificent surroundings invite you to walk and explore, the waterfalls, streams, hills and forests. It will be a guided tracking tour after breakfast. If you prefer to relax in the garden and take a short walk to visit the local village that’s of course possible, if you wish someone will give you company on that walk.
Afternoon tea, will be served together with a missionary or sister telling stories about the work in Tanzania. Dinner will be served at 19.00.
